Panos Katsimihas presents “Ton Nymphona Sou Vlepo”, a recording of deep spirituality and quiet introspection, inspired by a centuries-old Byzantine hymn traditionally associated with Holy Week and attributed to Romanos the Melodist (6th century AD).

“I behold Your bridal chamber, O my Savior, adorned,
yet I have no garment worthy to enter;
enlighten the garment of my soul, O Giver of Light,
and save me.”

Approached with restraint and reverence, the recording brings the hymn’s timeless language into a contemporary listening space, allowing its emotional and spiritual weight to resonate beyond specific religious or seasonal contexts. It stands as both a personal artistic statement and an invitation to reflection.

Production and artistic direction are by Panos Katsimihas, with programming by Thymios Papadopoulos. Recording, mixing, and mastering were completed at Stentor Studio.
